About the AUTOTERM Air 2D
The AUTOTERM Air 2D is the most compact diesel-powered air heater in the Air series. The heater unit draws fresh air from outside (or from a well-ventilated room) and heats it quickly, providing comfort and warmth even in low-temperature environments.
With a maximum output of 2 kW, it can heat an 86 m³ space hourly while maintaining your desired temperature. Thanks to its compact design, it is easy to install or retrofit in almost any land or marine vehicle, and is supplied with a full installation kit in either the 12V or 24V DC version.
Already reasonably priced, the Air 2D keeps running costs low thanks to excellent fuel economy — consuming only 0.24 litres of diesel per hour even at maximum power. All Air-series heaters use brushless induction motors for low noise, a long service life, and operation in extreme environments down to -45°C/-49°F.
AUTOTERM Air heaters can be controlled with various control panels or remotely via your iOS or Android smartphone (remote-control modem sold separately). It is a great choice for heating small truck cabins, commercial-vehicle cabins and cargo compartments, small campers, off-highway vehicles or boats up to 33 ft / 10 m.
